About Hewlett's Photography

I have loved photography from the moment I was given my first camera - a Kodak Box Brownie.

Photographing weddings and commercial subjects allows me to indulge in that love. I get great pleasure in capturing people at special times in their lives, and then seeing their happiness.

I especially like photographing portraits. Posing the bride and getting the lighting just right to bring out her inner beauty is enormously satisfying.

Over the years I have studied black and white photography, posing, lighting and photojournalism, in addition to attending many work-shops in photography. For me photography feeds body, heart and soul.
